Several additions have been made to the 2017 Noxious Weed Lists for Minnesota, including the Asiatic bush honeysuckles (Lonicera) and black locust. Additionally, 2017 is the last year that you can sell 25 of the seediest cultivars of Japanese barberry in Minnesota.

Hear industry experts and MNLA staff explain what these changes mean, which barberries will be banned in 2018 and which will still be legal to sell, and get ideas for suggested alternatives to replace Japanese barberry in your plant palette.
